What happens to links that don't fit any collection?

Clibben's auto-categorisation places them into a fitting collection or creates a new one. Nothing is lost.

Can I import from multiple browsers?

Yes. Run the import multiple times with different HTML files. Clibben merges them.

What if I have duplicate links?

Clibben detects obvious duplicates during import. Near-duplicates (same page, different URL parameters) are flagged for review.

Can I export from Clibben later if I want to switch?

Yes. Settings → Export → HTML file. Standard browser-compatible format.

Import your bookmarks into Clibben

Choose your browser or source below. Your folders and structure carry over automatically.

Export from Chrome

Open Chrome. Click the three-dot menu in the top right → Bookmarks → Bookmark manager. In the bookmark manager, click the three-dot menu again (top right of the panel) → Export bookmarks. Chrome saves an HTML file to your computer.

Import the file

In Clibben, go to Settings → Import → Upload the HTML file from Chrome. Clibben reads your folder structure and creates matching Collections automatically.

Done

Your bookmarks are in Clibben. Auto-categorisation will review them and may suggest better groupings - you can accept or keep your original structure.
